Uncle Louis with his Jeep in 1944
My Uncle Louis served as a Aerial Photographer during WW2. He was based in Southern England in 1944 where he met my aunt. She became a GI bride and after the war they returned to the US together and lived in Maryland for the rest of their lives. Jeeps have been part of our family ever since. I acquired my first Jeep - a 42 Willys MB (scripted body) in 1980 from RR Services. Our current restoration project is a Feb 42 Slatgrill Willys MB imported from the US in 2012.
